Decided to make some homemade chicken soup… for the first time ever.
It turned out REALLY good. And it was REALLY easy!
Here’s how I did it:
Recipe For Homemade Chicken Soup
3 cans of Chicken Broth
2 skinless Chicken Breasts
2 Carrots
2 stalks of Celery
3 chicken-flavored Boullion Cubes
2 cups of uncooked Egg Noodles
Pepper to taste
Cut the chicken into bite-size chunks, then boil the pieces in chicken broth (instead of water).
Cut the carrots and celery into bite-size pieces.
Once the chicken is cooked throughout, add the carrots, celery, and boullion cubes to the chicken & broth mixture. Cook til it starts to boil.
Then add the noodles and pepper for another 10 minutes.
Walaaah! The best-tasting chicken soup I’ve ever had.
NOTE: After serving, any unused portion will likely soak up most of the remaining broth. Simply add water plus another boullion cube (or another can of chicken broth) before you reheat the leftovers.
…Let me know if you like it!
I love my kitchen… and I like to cook. But my #1 requirement is that recipes have fewer than 7 ingredients (or arrive on my doorstep via a food delivery service).
My absolute favorite thing about being in the kitchen is trying out new gadgets, cookware, and storage containers! I’m SUPER organized in the kitchen (and everywhere else) and I have every gadget I could possibly need neatly and compactly tucked away until I need it. I share only the simplest recipes (which is great for people who don’t like to cook), along with time-saving food tips and cooking tricks (that will save you time and money).
