There have been a couple of new discoveries in my world…

Two food products and one cleaning product.

Here’s why these three things are so great, and why I highly recommend that you try them for yourself!

#1 – Hellman’s Upside Down Mayo.

We used to buy the 5-gallon jug (at least it seemed that big) from Sam’s Club. Yeah, it lasted forever, but it was a chore accessing the mayo one sandwich at a time. (Tip: Jim’s mom taught me to use a spatula — rather than a knife — for scooping & spreading mayonnaise from a jar.)

Hellmann's Easy Out Mayonnaise - a great upside down bottle of mayo! But Hellmann’s upside down mayo jar is simply amazing! No more mess. No more need for a knife (or a spatula). And no more waste — you use every last drop in this medium-sized bottle!

Psst… don’t tell Jim they’ve also got a “hot & spicy” version!

#2 – Dawn Foamy Dishwashing Soap.

This dish soap seemed a little pricey to me at first, but now I know it’s worth every penny. It truly is more concentrated than the regular Dawn dish soap, so in theory, it takes less to do the same amount of dishes. Each squirt (or pump) seems to last a fairly long time. And… it smells great! (I got the “fresh rapids” scent.) After using this foamy dishwashing soap the entire kitchen smells fresh & clean.

Dawn foamy dishwashing soap. For the record, I tend to use dish soap to hand-wash a few items at a time… the rest goes in the dishwasher. We also use dish soap to wash our hands at the kitchen sink throughout the day. This small pump bottle rests perfectly near the sink. And the best part… economy-sized refill bottles are available, so you don’t have to buy the “expensive” pump bottle each time.

#3 – Nature’s Own Honey 7 Grain Bread.

Truth be told, I’m not crazy about “healthy” kinds of breads. I don’t know what it is, but I’m a white bread kinda girl. Even at Subway, where the choices are plentiful, I’ve just started ordering the Honey Oat bread (…and I’m lovin’ it). I guess I’m starting to break out of my PB&J on Wonder bread rut.

Nature's Own Honey 7 Grain whole wheat bread loaf. Anyhoo… the Honey 7 Grain bread by Nature’s Own ROCKS! It’s got tiny seeds & grains in it, but they’re big enough that they add a nice little “crunch” to your sandwich. Here’s the best part though: No artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors. 100% whole grain. 0 grams of trans fat. No cholesterol. Tastes GREAT!

I buy this bread at Kroger… when they have some left on the store shelves, that is! They always seem to run out. And when they do… I buy Nature’s Own Honey Wheat and add some sunflower seeds on top of my lunchmeat between the bread slices. (No kidding.)
