Easy Smoothie Recipes: Just Mix & Match These Ingredients

I saw this in Better Homes and Gardens (July 2007). It's a list of ingredients that you can mix & match to make a variety of different fruit Smoothies.


I figured since my Easy To Make Strawberry Smoothies article has done so well through the years (I think it was one of the first articles I ever wrote here at The Fun Times Guide), that I must have a loyal following of Smoothie lovers by now.

So here's a fun way to make lots of Smoothies of various flavors.

Mix And Match Smoothies

Instructions...
Blend 1/4 cup Liquid ingredient, 1/2 cup Creamy ingredient, 1 cup Fruit, enough Flavor to taste, and 2-3 teaspoons of Nutrition Bonus.

Choose from these...

LIQUID: milk, juice, tea, soy milk

CREAMY: banana, yogurt, tofu, low-fat ice cream

FRUIT: berries, grapes, stone fruit, melons

FLAVOR: mint, ginger, cocoa powder, cinnamon

NUTRITION BONUS: instant breakfast powder, peanut butter, cottage cheese, almond butter
